  •  In UPSC exam it is not matter that in which stream (Arts, commerce, science) you have done your graduation degree .
  • But, according to topper you must have to take Arts stream in graduation and take optional subject during your graduation as optional subjects are the core subject matter of IAS exam.
  • you must have decided about your optional subject and I believe you must have taken your graduation subject as your optional subject. So you will need less time to prepare for the optional subject and you can easily master the optional syllabus in 2 months.
  • optional subjects such as History, Geography, Political science, sociology are most popular optional subject and you have read any of this subject during your graduation you have definitely have an edge in UPSC exam.
